■IN-FORM Spalding saw their four match unbeaten run ended by a first half double from Sporting.
The Tulips, who are eyeing the promotion play-off places, wilted under an impressive opening 45 minutes by Ian Rowe’s men.
James McGrady broke the deadlock sweeping in with 15 minutes on the clock and the lead was doubled by Jumaane Meggoe just before the half hour.
Meggoe, who has been given his chance after injuries hit Rowe’s side in recent weeks, drilled in his third goal of the campaign since making his debut.
