IN A game of few chances, ten-man Worthing scored two from the three that reasonably presented themselves, and hosts Chertsey Town failed with their two openings.
Town gained a virtual first-half advantage when too many studs were shown by Tryese Mthunzi in the 36th minute to be shown red.
However, Worthing gained the real advantage just before the break when a long, diagonal cross from the right was headed firmly home on the far post by Dayshonne Golding.
