NANTWICH Town edged through to the next round with a win over Grantham Town at the Optimum Pay Stadium.
Nantwich started the stronger, Joel Stair heading over from an early corner, before Dan Cockerline was played in, but somehow a Grantham defender was able to deflect it wide.
But the Dabbers didn’t have to wait much longer to take the lead.
A low corner from David Webb was swept in brilliantly by Sean Cooke at the near post — keeper Jim Pollard had no chance with bodies in front of him.
