CLITHEROE dominated from start to finish and the scoreline could easily have been more, but for a plucky display by the visitors.
The in-form Sefton Gonzales forced a fingertip save as early as the second minute, but made amends when he headed home from a corner after eight minutes.
Clitheroe had virtually all the possession, but it took a great pass from Jack Burrows to slip Zack Clarke through and to finish from a narrow angle to extend the lead.
