CRAIG Harrison got the perfect birthday present from his Connah’s Quay Nomads team in midweek when they made it six games without defeat in all competitions and three wins in a row in the JD Cymru Premier with their 1-0 win at Caernarfon Town.
In recent years that would have been very much par for the course, but the back-to-back champions hit a sticky patch at the start of the season and then saw manager Andy Morrison step aside after seven highly successful seasons in charge.
