STEVE WATT has stepped down as manager of Hythe Town – to help ease the financial pressures at the Isthmian South East club.
The former Margate boss had led the Cannons to a comfortable mid-table position despite a cash crisis which engulfs the Kent club after promised funds from an anonymous donor failed to materialise.
