FOR the second time this season Chippenham found themselves on the wrong end of a shock, after bowing out of the FA Cup to Hastings United, this time fellow step 4 Isthmian League side Uxbridge saw the Bluebirds’ miserable home form continue.
Chippenham only have themselves to blame as the windy conditions saw them pin the west London side back in the opening 45 minutes as they created over a dozen chances, but a combination of poor finishing and Reds keeper Tyler Tobin saw them fail to pierce the visitor’s goal.
