NEW Blyth Spartans manager Terry Mitchell has challenged his squad to rediscover their early-season form during a tough-looking December schedule.
The National League North strugglers kicked off their run-in to Christmas with a visit to league leaders AFC Fylde on Saturday before returning to Croft Park to face Southport next weekend.
A testing trio of festive fixtures will see Mitchell’s side face promotion challengers Gateshead in a double header either side of a home game against Spennymoor Town.
