For the last four years, the Buildbase Non-League Club Renovation has been a game-changer for grassroots football clubs across the country, putting them on the map and creating opportunities to benefit their fans and community. From the pitch to the clubhouse, the bursary has enabled twelve clubs so far to invest in their club’s potential and make a difference in their local area – which is what Buildbase is all about.
Four years after sharing the first £100k Buildbase bursary, Hanwell Town FC is a changed non-league football club. Since they were able to invest in their facilities, they have attracted a lot new player over the years. Hanwell Town FC have even signed up to the climate change net zero framework after investing in eco LED lighting and recycling initiatives at the club – an amazing cause to support!
With the help of the bursary, renovating the kitchen and bar allowed them to encourage more external functions in the clubhouse and promoting it as a live music venue, making it a place for everyone to enjoy. The Buildbase renovation bursary has helped Hanwell Town FC become such an incredible asset to their local community – but it doesn’t stop with them…
In their fifth year of the Buildbase Non-League Club Renovation, the builders’ merchant is giving 10 clubs competing in The Buildbase FA Vase & FA Trophy the chance to win £10,000 worth of building supplies each (including electricals and hire equipment) to renovate their club kitchen or changing room / toilet block.
From upgrading the changing rooms for a women’s team to installing new toilets for disabled fans, or even renovating a kitchen to continue supporting a local community project… Buildbase will be supporting the largest number of non-league clubs so far with the 2021/22 season Buildbase Non-League Club Renovation bursary.
