■ BRENTWOOD lost ground on the pack chasing a play-off spot after a frustrating defeat at home to Tilbury.
Both sides created chances throughout an even first-half at Brentwood Centre Arena, but the visitors opened the scoring on the hour mark after a bright spell following the restart.
Eljay Worrell’s well struck shot put Tilbury ahead and just ten minutes later his side had a two goal cushion, in fortunate circumstances, thanks to James Love’s own goal, which dented the hosts’ hopes of finding a leveller.
