MICKLEOVER boosted their hopes of avoiding the drop with a comprehensive dismantling of Hyde’s six-match unbeaten run, which also moved them out of the bottom three.
Sports took the lead on 23 minutes when Pablo Mills found the bottom corner of the net from the edge of the box after a half-cleared free-kick.
They doubled their lead three minutes later when Hyde were caught out by a quick drop ball and Phil Watt headed past disbelieving Tigers keeper Craig Ellison.
