A CHARLIE Kendall double saw Eastbourne Borough stun high-flying Oxford City, ending a run of five successive draws between the sides.
Despite a break of 21 days from competitive football, the visitors showed no rust as they opened the scoring after nine minutes.
The ever-dangerous Kendall put pressure on the onrushing debutant City keeper Kie Plumley, beating him to the loose ball to leave him the simple task of slotting into the empty net.
