■ CLEETHORPES romped to an emphatic win against fellow play-off hopefuls Ossett.
The scoring opened in the 19th minute when Scott Vernon smashed the ball in from the edge of the area. Chances came and went for the hosts, before Aaron Haswell levelled.
Parity was short-lived though, with Vernon grabbing his second and then Jordon Cooke headed in a corner.
The second half proved to be mostly one-way traffic.
