■ A LATE goal ten minutes from time proved the difference between the two sides at opposite ends of the table, but Chalfont will be wondering how they failed to get anything from a game in which they more than matched their second-placed opponents.
Boorn and Rogalski had good chances in the first half to give the hosts the lead, but McCorkell had to be alert to deny Lodge.
The second half saw both sides miss good opportunities, the best of which fell to Boorn and Rogalski was unable to finish the rebound.
