L’HAMPTON WON 4-1 ON PENS
AFTER playing out a quite thrilling 3-3 draw in normal time, Littlehampton Town defeated Brockenhurst 4-1 on penalties to progress to the last eight of the FA Vase for only the second time in their history.
The Southern Combination hosts took the lead early in the first-half through Joe Benn, whose audacious lob on the volley found the net.
It did not take long for the Wessex League visitors to equalise, however, with Silvano Obeng’s fine finish leaving James Binfield with no chance.
