SAM Higgins’ 90th-minute goal on his return from a long injury layoff was a happy ending to a happy afternoon as Hornchurch convincingly beat play-off rivals Folkestone Invicta.
Indeed, the win took the Urchins into the final play-off place, at Invicta’s expense.
Adam Yussuf’s early effort looked destined for the top corner but for the outstretched hand and lightning reactions of Urchin keeper Joe Wright who tipped it onto the bar.
