■ TWO teams at the wrong end of the table battled their way to a point each.
There was little in the way of flowing football in the first half and the deadlock was broken after 41 minutes when an error in the Grinstead defence was despatched into the top corner by Javaun Splatt.
Grinstead came out strongly in the second half and had most of the attacking play with Whitehawk trying to hold on.
