JAMES Golding put in a man-of-the-match performance as Banbury United saw off Peterborough Sports and cemented their place at the top of the table.
The home side came into the game against fourthplaced Sports with a 14-point lead. Banbury’s first attack saw them awarded a corner and Giorgio Rasulo crossed and Kelvin Langmead’s header went straight into Paul White’s hands in the Peterborough goal.
