TAUNTON Town’s long wait for a first-ever win at Raymond McEnthill Stadium came to an end with a close-fought victory.
Joshua Fawole had an early chance for the Whites, but William Buse punched the ball clear.
The Peacocks then went close when Jared Lewington’s shot was saved by Patrick O’Flaherty.
These were, however, rare moments of difficulty for both keepers in the first half, though Taunton went close a couple of times.
