■ THERE was always an element for Chertsey Town that the points might be shared as Tooting & Mitcham Utd were kept on the back foot but remained a threat.
Scoring started five minutes in with an Ashley Lodge penalty kick. Tooting replied within eight minutes with Mark Waters slotting it home from 20 yards.
