■A PRETTY mundane first half saw Bay dominate possession but create very few goal attempts with their biggest threat coming from Stefan Wright with his long throw into the box.
Faversham were defending in numbers, but Bay’s slick passing produced a moment of panic in Town’s defence before the ball was cleared.
Bay camped in the visitors’ half in the second period.
A glancing header from Dan Johnson broke the deadlock in the 57th minute and Rory Smith hit the second courtesy of the bar and keeper Kia Plummley’s back.
