YOUNG gun Ross Jenkins got the green light to steer the Oxford City ship permanently – but insisted he will not take his foot off the gas in search of promotion.
The former Watford midfielder was in caretaker charge of the National League North Hoops after David Oldfield left for National League side Weymouth in January.
At 31, Jenkins, a UEFA A Licence holder, is the youngest manager in the division – even though he has been coaching at Oxford for three years.
