A BRACE from Michael Donohue helped FC United keep their outside chances of a playoff spot alive, but the Reds had to come from behind twice to take this crucial win.
Basford opened the scoring on five minutes, a stunning free-kick from Ryan Wilson from 25 yards out hit the underside of the bar to give keeper Dan Lavercombe no chance of stopping.
In response, FC dominated possession throughout the first half, but failed to really test Kieran Preston.
