TITLE-chasing South Shields put their poor away form behind them and ended a run of four game winless run as they comfortably overcame Bamber Bridge.
The Mariners took the lead courtesy of a 20-yard thunderbolt from Mitch Rose on 13 minutes.
Brig goalkeeper Matt Hudson’s clearance was poor and fell to Rose whose effort found the top right corner.
It was soon two as Dillon Morse perfectly picked out Will McGowan, who controlled before turning and firing between Hudson’s legs.
