■ KIERAN Brown’s missed chances haunted Kidsgrove as they were held to a goalless draw by a battling Ramsbottom United.
It was a game that deserved goals with both sides creating more than enough chances to claim all three points.
The Rams had the better of the first-half chances, with Domaine Rouse’s header from a Tom Kennedy cross cannoning off the post, and Ryan Brown made a good low save to deny Billy Halser-Cregg.
