CHELMSFORD and Tonbridge Angels picked up a point on their hunt for survival in a stalemate at the EMG Inspire Stadium.
In a tightly contested first half, it took over 20 minutes for either side to register a shot at goal.
It was the visitors who had it, with Joseph Turner firing an effort at Kai McKenzie-Lyle’s goal from distance which went narrowly over the crossbar.
Tonbridge also had the game’s second chance on the half-hour mark, with Tommy Wood rising highest to a cross into the box to head not far wide.
