■WHITSTABLE will probably look back on  this as a chance to have taken maximum points after Corinthian put in a lacklustre performance.
Corinthian had taken an early lead after Josh James headed home from close range.
However, with their next attack, Whitstable equalised. Corinthian gave away a cheap free-kick which bounced in the area and Charlie Heatley put the ball into the Corinthian net, reacting first inside the sixyard box. Corinthian then had the lions share of possession in the second half, without threatening the Whitstable goal.
