HAVING A BALL: Football fun for pooches

DOG lovers of Manchester are in for an Easter Sunday treat, all thanks to West Didsbury & Chorlton FC.
The South Manchester club are putting on their now infamous Non-League Dog Day to coincide with their women’s team facing off against local rivals Salford City Lionesses at Brookburn Road (ko 2pm).
Today marks the third time the forward-looking club have held the event, following a three-year, Covid hiatus.
Over 50 pooches were in attendance for the 2019 Non-League Dog Day and the club are hoping to build on its popularity.
