■THATCHAM Town fell to a heavy defeat against promotion-chasing Chertsey on the final day of the season.
Magnus Abisogun opened the scoring after only two minutes, tapping home a rebound after Jack Hopwood saved.
Thatcham’s best chance to level came with a Dan Fosu header that went just wide.
The floodgates opened in the second half for Chertsey.
Bill Montague converted an Abisogun cross to make it 2-0 and centre-back Quincy Rowe made it 3-0 to the visitors with a fierce drive after 67 minutes.
