LEE MATTHEWS reckons Wallingford Town’s historic FA Vase run helped them to playoff success.
Wally are back at Step 5 for the first time since 1989 after beating Hilltop in the Combined Counties Division One play-off.
It comes at the end of a fine season where they enjoyed an FA Vase run as they reached the third round beating Step 5 sides Bishops Cleeve and Ascot United along the way.
