FORMER Coventry City midfielder Ivor Lawton has been appointed as the permanent manager of United Counties Premier South side Coventry United.
Lawton joined United in December as first-team coach, before becoming caretaker-manager following the departure of Joe Haggarty in February.
The 26-year-old also turned out for Nuneaton and Stratford before retiring through injury.
