Askey: New York City chiefs eyeing up patient approach

YORK City boss John Askey says radical change is not on the agenda following this week’s shock takeover.
Long-standing owner Jason Mc-Gill announced on Tuesday that he had sold his shareholding to the York City Supporters’ Trust.
Glen Henderson, a South African entrepreneur who was born in Hartlepool, subsequently acquired 51 per cent of the Trust’s shares and became chairman, with Trust member Alastair Smith acting as CEO.
