NEITHER side managed to create a clear chance in the early stages with the best opportunities falling to Lancaster’s Dominic Lawson who was unable to convert.
Nantwich’s hopes received a setback after 33 minutes when they were reduced to ten. David Norris was bundled over by Joe Robbins, the referee deeming it to be denying a goal scoring opportunity.
The closest either side came was in stoppage time when a shot from Lancaster’s Brad Hubbold flew over.
