A YOUTHFUL new-look nCoggeshall side impressed as they held visitors Grays Athletic to a goalless draw.
Grays had the better opportunities to score, but the Coggeshall defence kept them out. Grays’ best firsthalf chance came after 30 minutes when a goal-bound corner was tipped over the bar by keeper Akan George. A Grays free-kick from just outside the penalty area was blasted wide by Correy Davidson.
Coggeshall’s Kris Oti then had a header saved by visiting goalkeeper Dave Sambridge with ten minutes remaining.
