HUNGERFORD TOWN got their season up and running with a deserved win over a flat Eastbourne Borough side.
Town got off to the perfect start. Inside six minutes ex-Eastbourne player Joel Rollinson fired home into the corner of the net after the hosts won the ball high up the pitch and Curtis Angell set up Rollinson to score.
Eastbourne dominated possession but with only had a Chris Whelpdale low drive, well saved by Jed Ward, to show for their efforts.
