LEISTON continued their unbeaten start to the season as they defeated Mickleover in a first ever meeting between the two sides.
Callum Chettle went close early on for the visitors as he flashed a shot just wide of Sam Donkin’s right-hand post. Leiston though gradually got a foothold in the match and took the lead after 13 minutes. Finlay Barnes and Will Davies linked up well on the edge of the area, with the latter putting Adam Mills in on goal and the midfielder coolly slotted past Finlay Bowen in the away goal.
