BILLY HEATH’S men did a real job on their hosts to keep their unbeaten start to the season going. A fine second-half performance choked the life out of a hapless Kettering Town side.
Alfreton opened the scoring through fortuitous circumstances after a harsh handball call on Lewis White. The penalty was well saved by Cameron Gregory but Dayle Southwell didn’t make the same mistake twice and stroked the rebound home.
