LEEK will be ruing a host of missed chances as they were held to a draw by winless Ramsbottom.
The home side took a deserved lead into half time as captain Marc Grocott drilled home a low, 25-yard effort and nearly made it two but Daniel Trickett-Smith’s curled effort came back off the bar.
Trickett-Smith hit the woodwork again after the break and was also denied by the goalkeeper’s legs while Will Saxon put a volley wide when the goal was gaping before the proverbial kick in the teeth came after 80 minutes.
