Ref apologises for ordering extra-time

AN FA Vase tie will be replayed from scratch after the referee mistakenly played extra-time – even after being presented with the rules.
Saffron Dynamo went on to beat 10-man Ingles 4-2 after the first qualifying round tie had ended 2-2 after 90 minutes.
Competition rules state all ties up to and including the semi-finals must go straight to a penalty shootout but referee Ryan Dobson allegedly dismissed Ingles officials when they brought the matter to his attention ahead of extra-time.
