The first goal came after 35 minutes when Callum Fitzer was pushed down in the box. Up stepped Alex Fernandez to send Sports keeper the wrong way from the penalty spot.
It wasn’t long before Rovers added a second. Captain Danny Cossington headed in at the near post from a Kewin Kwiek free kick on 40 minutes.
