JOHN ASKEY wants to keep building York City back up after signing a contract extension with the Minstermen following his decision to turn down Rochdale.
The former Macclesfield Town boss guided York to a National League return last season through the National League North play-offs.
Askey, 57, was the subject of interest from League Two Dale over their managerial vacancy after sacking Robbie Stockdale last month.
