AFTER bowing out of last season’s FA Cup and FA Trophy to Step 4 clubs at the first hurdle, Chippenham made certain there would be no repeat. After taking an interval lead they brushed aside stubborn Sholing with two second-half goals inside three minutes.
Sholing’s best early chance came straight from the kick-off when Stuart Green found himself with only Will Henry to beat but the home keeper blocked his shot.
