■ DESPITE strong second half pressure by Southall, Tooting & Mitcham managed to hold on for the a deserved point.
The first half was closely contested and the home side went ahead after 32 minutes when a cross from Alex Nolan was deflected into the path of Luke Henneghan who put the ball into the net.
Tooting then stepped up the pressure as they sought to get back in the game.
The equaliser duly came on the stroke of half-time thanks to a clinical finish from Jordan Clarke who gave the keeper no chance.
