TOWN’S £3.2M LIFT

RINGWOOD Town are to be transformed by a £3.2 million scheme to upgrade their Long Lane ground into a top local sporting facility.
The first phase is the installation of a floodlit 3G artificial pitch and will be followed by a new clubhouse next year.
The project is a joint venture between the Wessex Division One outfit, landowner Ringwood Town Council and AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust, who aim to run engagement programmes from the ground. Funding has come from the Football Foundation, New Forest District Council and local Round Table.
