AS one of the 732 football clubs accepted in to the FA Cup this season, Congleton Town have had an eventful journey so far.
Their campaign got underway in the Extra Preliminary Round with victory on the road at Abbey Hey before beating Bootle and Nantwich Town in the next couple of rounds, resulting in another tie against higher level opposition, this time at Newcastle Town.
Last Saturday a goal in stoppage time saw Newcastle rescue a 1-1 draw and to force a replay.
