Town show their spirit for a replay

A SPIRITED and gritty performance by Hanley Town earned them a well deserved replay, against a Chester side who dominated the match territorially but didn’t possess enough guile or cutting edge to put the tie to bed.
The Staffordshire side who play two levels beneath Chester in the pyramid, defended in depth in the first period and frustrated the National League North outfit for long spells.
Chesters best chances came at the beginning and end of the contest.
