Fans don’t get money’s worth

LAST week there were some interesting stats on the amount of time the ball was actually in play in Premier League matches.
For example, in the Arsenal v Tottenham game the ball was in play for 54 of the 90 minutes, for Fulham v Newcastle it was 50 minutes.
So for approximately 36 minutes, the ball is not ‘in play’.
Coming down through the leagues, this must be a similar situation, giving supporters ‘short change’ at the turnstiles.
Hopefully there can be a solution where fans can get their ‘money’s worth’ at footbal...
