CHATS left it late to snatch all three points at the Bauvill against a structured Chichester side.
The first half was a rather stale affair, largely disrupted with fouls and offsides, with the Chatham wide players unable to spring the trap.
The second half started with a better tempo, but it was Chichester who made the breakthrough via Nikki Rowlett, whose 25-yard effort flew past Bridle-Card.
