BATTLING Spennymoor came from 2-0 down at the interval to earn a well-deserved point at high-flying Scarborough.
The hosts went ahead in the 25th minute when Ash Jackson, on his 75th appearance for the club, squared the ball off to Lewis Maloney, who smashed a 25-yard screamer past helpless goalkeeper Giosue Bellagambi.
The lead was doubled ten minutes later, as the excellent Kieran Glynn jinked past two defenders and flicked a pass to the clinical Michael Coulson, who slotted in goal number two for Athletic.
