RENDELL FULFILS DREAM

NEW YATE Town boss John Rendell says leaving Paulton Rovers was a tough decision but he’s always had the ambition to manage his hometown Bluebells.
Rendell succeeds Peter Beadle, who offered his resignation a fortnight ago, at the helm of the Southern Premier Division South outfit.
Rendell said: “It was a hard decision to leave my family with kids, a local post at Paulton Rovers – after 12 seasons at the club as a player and manager – as I felt we’ve assembled a strong enough squad this year to achieve promotion.
